This app simplifies the process of submitting a pesticide related incident in California to the correct county for investigation.

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation protects human health and the environment by regulating pesticide sales and use, and by fostering reduced-risk pest management. To further strengthen the ties with various communities in California dealing with pesticides in California, DPR has sponsored this app to easily submit pesticide related incident reports.

This app streamlines the process for you to submit a pesticide related incident report. Depending on the details of your incident report, your report will be sent to the Department of Pesticide Regulation or directly to the Agricultural Commissioner of the incident county for further investigation. If your incident report requires more information, somebody from DPR or the Agricultural Commissioner’s office will be in contact with you.

The app allows you to fill in all the data of the incident and submit it. The system determines the correct agency for you – no need to hunt down the correct agency that will ultimately handle your incident. The more information you volunteer, the easier and quicker the investigation will be. Most likely, a County Investigator or DPR staff will be contacting you as the investigation progresses.
